You can't sell a crane without knowing the facility
A crane is not a product picked from a catalogue. The same 10-ton load calls for a completely different machine in a workshop with a 12-metre span and in a foundry with a 28-metre span. Lifting height, the facility's column spacing, how many lifts happen per day, how long the load stays on the hook — all of these change the crane's class and construction.
At Terra Cranes we start the job with measurement. We walk the facility, take the span and column loads, and listen to the production flow. Only then does it become clear which crane family is right and to which duty class it must be manufactured.
How we work
- Survey and measurementThe facility is walked; span, lifting height, column spacing and the existing steel structure are measured.
- EngineeringDuty class is determined, the structural calculation is done, the quote and technical specification are prepared.
- ManufacturingThe girder, trolley and hoist are manufactured; the electrical panel and control system are prepared.
- Installation and commissioningRail line inspection, installation, electrical connection, load test and operator training.
- MaintenancePeriodic inspection, fault response and spare parts supply.
