Crane Systems

Four main crane families, one engineering approach.

Which crane family is right depends on the facility's geometry and duty cycle. The four families below cover nearly the entire range of industrial lifting needs.

Subtypes and special solutions

Single Girder Overhead CraneThe trolley runs suspended under a single main girder. Light construction, low wheel loads, easy to fit onto an existing steel structure.Double Girder Overhead CraneThe trolley runs on top of two main girders. High tonnage, wide span and noticeably more lifting height.Underslung (Low-Headroom) CraneSuspended from below the runway, hung from the roof structure. For low-headroom buildings and where column spacing can't be used.Wall Travelling Crane (Cantilever Crane)A cantilevered crane that travels on a single rail running along a wall. Serves the wall line without tying up the main overhead crane.Full Gantry CraneA gantry crane with both legs resting on ground-level rails. Full area coverage outdoors, with no building structure required.Semi-Gantry CraneOne side rests on a ground-level rail, the other on a rail carried by a building bracket. Saves site space and lowers cost.Freestanding (Column-Mounted) Jib CraneA jib crane that rotates on a column anchored to the ground. Can be installed in the middle of a station without needing a wall.Wall-Mounted Jib CraneA jib crane mounted on an existing wall or column. No foundation required, no floor space taken up.Ex-Proof (Explosion-Protected) CraneA crane designed not to produce sparks in an explosive atmosphere. Engineered as a whole, not component by component.Process CraneA crane that's part of the production process itself, running continuously on a dedicated duty. Its downtime is direct production loss.
