Details →An unmaintained crane means stopped production
A crane failure is rarely a cost on its own. When the crane stops, the line stops, shipments slip, and the production plan is disrupted. Periodic maintenance exists to catch this downtime before it becomes a failure: a worn brake lining, a loosening rail bolt or a wire rope starting to break a strand is spotted in an inspection within minutes.
Having lifting equipment inspected at set intervals by authorised personnel is also a regulatory requirement. Keeping maintenance records in order protects you during safety audits as well.
